Polycarbonate – Introduction
Polycarbonate is an amorphous, tasteless, odorless, non-toxic and transparent thermoplastic polymer. It has excellent mechanical, thermal and electrical properties, especially impact resistance, good toughness.

Polycarbonate notched impact strength of 44kj / mz, tensile strength > 60MPa.

Polycarbonate heat resistance is good, can be used for a long time at – 60 ~ 120 ℃, heat deflection temperature 130 ~ 140 ℃, glass transition temperature 145 ~ 150 ℃, no obvious melting point, in 220 ~ 230 ℃ is molten state.

Thermal decomposition temperature > 310℃. Due to the rigidity of the molecular chain, its melt viscosity is much higher than that of general-purpose thermoplastics.

In addition, polycarbonate has low water absorption rate of 0. 16%; excellent weather resistance; good coloring; flame-resistance in accordance with UL standard 94 Vl and 94 V-2, and is a self-extinguishing resin.
Polycarbonate – Applications
In the electrical and electronic industry, it can be used as insulating connectors, coil frames, terminals, gaskets, etc. for electronic computers, televisions, radios, speaker equipment and household appliances.
